Yay me. In 100 wonderful posts, I've said nothing. I apologize for that, especially if you frequent my blog.
I'm at work, getting absolutely nothing accomplished which isn't unusual. It's been a long week but I'm proud to say I'm excited for football this weekend. Hopefully my fantasy team will continue to be undefeated and therefore I'll remain in first place. Wtih Jeremey Shockey out I've had to do a bit of shuffling and picked up Bo Scaife.
Wes and I just joined a hockey league, so I'm working on my draft rankings for that. We also joined what will be my first live draft league ever, an NBA Fantasy league, which I'm stoked for. I want to do well, obviously, but I have a hard time wanting to ever have Kobe Bryant on my team. I may make two teams...one that I'm trying to win and another that would be my dream team if I were a coach. Mostly it will consist of Kings players.
Have I mentioned I'm pretty excited that Bobby Jackson has returned to Sacramento? No? Ok. Well, let me just say this: I'm stoked that Bobby Jackson is again a member of the Sacramento Kings. He and Kevin Martin will be a lovely duo I think. Ah yes...now if only Chris Webber will suddenly become about 5 years younger, physically, not mentally. And get Mike Bibby back and things will be just peachy. (In my dreams, I know).
Anyways, I'm covering my second football game tonight. Technically I've been to five games so far this season, one each week but last and tonight are the only two I've covered by myself and written stories for. I know, marvel at my skill. Let's just hope it doesn't get cold anytime soon. I'll turn into a permanent popsicle and that's not something I'm looking forward to.
SPECIAL REPORT: I just submitted my application to graduate in May!!!! Woo hoo. In just a few short months I will have my degree. Yipee. Four years. I'm such a stud.
Also, my Nana, who had surgery yesterday, just called to tell me she was doing very well. Yay! I'm more excited about that than my graduation form.
